Hypnotherapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses hypnosis to induce a trance like state, enabling us to reach the deepest parts of ourselves that need the most healing.

It is a natural state of awareness where the body is fully relaxed, but the mind is awake.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Whether you are aware of it or not, you go in and out of hypnosis throughout the day. Have you ever been so absorbed in a movie that you forgot you were sitting in the cinema? Or have you ever been driving and missed a turn because you were day dreaming? Or got to a destination, and don't even remember driving there? These are all great examples of states of hypnosis.

During our session together, I will guide you into a deeply relaxed state where you will be fully aware of what is happening, but your unconscious and subconscious mind will be activated. By using advanced techniques, we can then begin to reprogram your mind with the positive changes that you desire.

How can Hypnotherapy help?

When you are in a hypnotic state, your conscious mind is completely relaxed which allows access to your sub-conscious mind. Much like a computer, the subconscious mind holds all your “programming.”

You can “know” in your conscious mind that you want to make a change and be determined to make that change, but if your computer is “programmed” to keep running an old & not so effective program, then it is nearly impossible to make lasting change.

During your hypnotherapy sessions we will transform and heal the old programming with some powerful hypnotic modalities, because when you transform the subconscious programming, the behaviour follows.

FAQs

Will hypnosis work on me?

Most people can experience a beneficial level of hypnosis as long as they wish to. Some individuals see results in as little as one session, while others require a number of sessions before seeing the outcome that they desire.

If I struggle to relax will it still be effective?

Hypnosis does not require that you are physically relaxed, you can reach a beneficial trance like state while running, which is what happens to many people who are into jogging. However, one of the common and lovely side-effect of hypnosis, can be that you do relax and learn to become more relaxed. In fact, many people report that after trying hypnosis, they were able to experience true deep relaxation for the first time.

Will I remember what happened after the session?

Just like when you're listening to a speech and your mind wanders off and you don’t remember everything consciously, so too it is in hypnosis. The bottom line is, it is up to you. You can choose to listen to everything, or just let go like in a daydream. It will be effective either way.

Is it dangerous?

No. You are constantly going in and out of trance everyday of your life. There has never been a case recorded of anyone dying from hypnosis. There are however some contraindications such as epilepsy, psychotic conditions such as Schizophrenia and certain kinds of medication e.g. antipsychotic and some strong anti-depressants. If you are unsure, consult your GP.

Will I wake up from the trance?

Definitely. You will naturally drift into a lighter and deeper states of trance at times during hypnosis. At the end of  the session you will naturally return to full awareness when you are ready.

1 Hour Session £100

TESTIMONIALS

I've always been a skeptic of hypnotherapy, but when I met Daniella I got such a good feeling about her - I trusted her and I was willing to at least try. We only had one session together, and the only reason we only had one session was because it was all I needed... I kid you not. She turned me from a skeptic into a believer, and at the same time managed to shift a limiting belief I'd been carrying around with me my whole life. I still can't believe it was that easy. Forever grateful Daniella, thank you.
